Ciertamente, yo no podría entrar en desacuerdo con la gente boliviana de informática, quienes afirman que en unos cuantos años, los libros, las revistas y las pizarras desaparecerán. Aunque estos jóvenes informáticos solo lo dicen en voz baja, aún les cuesta aseverar que los profesores pronto serán reemplazados por programas informáticos educativos. Bueno, de hecho, algunos institutos en Santa Cruz ya han puesto pie en esta nueva esfera. Las computadoras les están enseñando inglés a los estudiantes. Eso es un hecho.

Si un profesor de Inglés tiene en mente permanecer en el campo de la enseñanza en los siguientes 10 años. Debe comenzar a entender completamente todo lo que los informáticos están desarrollando en cuanto a material de enseñanza del idioma inglés como segunda lengua o como lengu extranjera. Todo acerca de las herramientas y actividades en sus programas.  Aparentemente, la nueva corriente está en el reconocimiento de la voz y automatización de repasos. La editorial Syracuse Language Learning con su programa Triple Playplus y Let's Talk es una las pioneras en esta área. Otra editorial es Auralog de españa con su programa Tell me more Kids es simplemente indescriptible. Inglés con Pipo, Inglés con Ozmo, el Inglés de Lexus, los DVDs en Inglés y español de Disney son también fabulosos.
